The Land Stewards Membership
A monthly membership hosted by Alice McCready and guest experts, to reconnect you to your local landscape and reignite the wisdom of oral traditions from our ancestors in the British Isles, returning us to our rightful places as stewards and custodians of nature.
How The Membership Works:
Monthly Stewardship Teaching Workshop
Every month you will have the chance to join an educational workshop around how to be a steward of nature and work with healing the land and your connection to it.
Monthly Ceremony or Wheel of the Year Celebration
Eight times per year, we will meet for the wheel of the year celebrations, the Celtic and Anglo-Saxon high holy days to honour nature, her stories and the turning of the seasons. On the months where there are no festivals, we will meet for a regular ceremony and sharing space with chances to ask Alice questions.
Within the membership, you will meet like-minded souls who also want to show up as stewards of their local land and spiritual inheritance. There is a dedicated community space for you to share and meet new individuals like yourself.

My Why:
I find it strange within Western spirituality that we can often name many deities found in far-off lands, but we often can’t name the trees in our gardens, the stars from our hemisphere and the animals who roam in our last wild areas. I feel that due to colonisation and homogenisation of our native British knowledge throughout history, we have lost that important practise of reverence and familiarity with our natural world, which means we have lost our place as stewards. With our world in climate and social crisis, it feels more important than ever to reweave ourselves back into our local landscapes and the sanctity of our oral traditions and rituals in order to protect nature and innocent life.
I want to be the wizened old crone who takes her grandchild on walks into the forest to teach them the lore of trees, the medicine in plants and our kin in the otherworld. I want the knowledge that has skipped too many generations to bleed back into my veins and permeate through those who come next. I want to honour the land that holds me and teach others to do the same thing. We have gaps in our knowledge in the West, it’s time to come back into apprenticeship with the land, and this is where you can start doing that in an easy and accessible way.

Land & Water Healing
Plant Lore & Medicine Making
