A FREE class to offer a way for us to weave ourselves back into the land as stewards and reignite the oral traditions of the old ways in the British Isles.

Why now is the time:
Wisdom of our local land and the old ways of the British Isles has skipped too many generations, we are left unfamiliar with our locality, searching far and wide in distant lands for a remedy to this disconnection. Becoming a land steward is about learning a “way” to relate with our local land, learning the vital knowledge that we should have been taught in school. The knowledge of plants, animals, stars, cosmology, myth and folklore that was vital to our ancestors’ animistic worldview. Right now, weaving ourselves back into our rightful place as stewards and protectors of nature has never been more important in the midst of a global climate crisis, to leave a world to future generations, it’s time to return to the old ways.
Here’s what you’ll learn:
Why we have strayed so far from our native traditions, how our native wisdom became so fragmented throughout history and what to do about it now.
How stewards can be a beacon of hope, agency and action in the face of the current social and climate crisis we are facing.
How to step into stewardship with your local area.
How to become the grandma/grandpa that everyone calls when they want to ask about plants, animals, stars, spirits and life’s challenges.
How to step away from cultural appropriation and reignite the oral traditions from the British Isles and become a wisdom keeper of the old ways.
You are welcome to join even if you have never lived in the UK and don’t have heritage from the area! You can apply the same practises to your culture and local land.
You’ll also come away with practical takeaways and resources you can use straight away to start working with native British knowledge and stewardship practises.
My Journey With Becoming A Land Steward:
There is a foundational gap, that consistently gets missed out of spiritual and self-development trainings.
We jump straight into the skills, the energy and the therapy but miss the vital knowledge that is ingrained and not separate from indigenous culture globally; we miss the knowledge of the plants, the stars, the animals, the otherworldly teachers, we miss the myths and stories held in the hearts of bards for hundreds of years. This is our native path and the reason why so many of us always feel like “there is something missing” and we just need to do one more training to fill that gap, but nothing ever does.
When I started to learn my local plants, birds, the local stars in my hemisphere, the stories from the land I grew up on, the gap started to close, and it was as if when I spoke to the land, she spoke back. Weaving ourselves back into the land is simple; we just have to know where to start…
